Online in the Classroom

Although online courses are usually associated with virtual classrooms and online interactions, many teachers use UC college Prep courses and content in their classrooms or send students to our open access site to do projects and homework. Many online courses are delivered online and in the classroom, so the student benefits from the dynamic online content but also has direct access to the teacher. Even online programs usually bring the students into the classroom to proctor key assessments and exams. UCCP courses offer multimedia presentations of classroom content and include voiced narrative, videos, games and text. Many students who do not respond to classroom techniques absorb online content more readily. Students can be engaged by the learning style that works best for them and apply that to their classroom work. Since UCCP materials are aligned to California content standards and College Board approved, teachers can be assured that the courses and content complement classroom instructional goals and lesson plans. Some teachers can use UCCP courses to model their own syllabus. |
